Community Work Thus, the Israeli society will become one of better values; a society which cares for others. It is our view that each individual ought to contribute as much as s/he can to the community in order to empower the community as a whole. Community work among the youth in Netanya is of high importance to us. As a young, initiative and developing law office we have aspired to instill in our youth knowledge and values which are the basis of our daily work as lawyers. Fake Trial The students are exposed to these concepts for the first time and they learn what criminal responsibility is, and what its consequences are. The program allows the students to experience how the law treats violence cases which are often parts of the students' reality. Following an introduction lecture, the participants analyze a legal case. They are divided into groups according to their roles: police investigator, witness, accused, defense attorney, prosecutor etc. Then, a few talented children are chosen to conduct a trial in the presence of parents, teachers and representatives from the media. The office also provides lectures in different forums for women and parents regarding issues such as sexual harassment, the treatment of juvenile delinquency etc. We put an emphasis on laws, the importance of keeping the law, tolerance, patience, good citizenship, compassion and care for the animals and the surrounding. We would like to quote here the explanation for the bill for the Israeli SPCA in 1992: "An enlightened society is tested not only by the way it treats humans but also by the way it treats animals". Animal Rights Day opens with an introduction lecture titled "Animal Rights in Light of the Law" which provides basic knowledge about the Israeli SPCA law and its implementation in the world of justice. In addition, there are other lectures given by police officers, veterinarians and other experts as well as a live demonstration of the policemen work with dogs that were trained to find drugs and explosives. A performance of the police orchestra completes this distinctive day. Adoption of the NGO Animal Guard Animal Guard operates in cooperation with the Israeli police for the rights and well being of the animals. Many members of this NGO are the civil guard volunteers who act together with the police. Lately, another voluntary unit has been set up in order to protect and guard the animals. Our office accompanies the internalization process and aids by showing ways of action
