Lawyer Benny Katz was born in 1968 in Haifa. He is married and has two children.

He is a graduate of "Ironi Hay" high school in Haifa. During his army service, he was a fighter in the antiaircraft unit and was ranked a captain in the reserve duty where he serves as a lawyer of the Military Attorney.

In the 1990s Katz was a basketball player in the Israeli team (in the cades, youth and the senior league).
In 1994 Katz graduated Law Studies in Sheffield University (LL.B) with an expertise in contract law and in the Common Market.
In 1995, during his internship, he worked as a prosecutor in the Israeli Police. He has been a certified lawyer since 1996.

Katz held the position of a traffic prosecutor in the Transportation Department in Tel-Aviv and of a legal advisor for the Kfar Saba police station (in the Sharon region). His last position in the Israeli Police was head of the investigation office.

Throughout the years, Katz wrote several guide books which formed the basis for instructing young as well as senior investigators.

In 1999, Katz quit the police and set up Benny Katz Law Office. Lawyer Katz knows how to combine his extremely important experience he acquired in the police as a prosecutor and as an investigator, and his excellent relationship with the enforcement forces.

He often represents police officers, public personalities and government employees. He deals both with difficult and easy offenses.
